Zaha Eye Drop Azithromycin  is used to treat infections of the eye, such as bacterial conjunctivitis. Azithromycin belongs to a group of medicines called macrolide antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria that cause conjunctivitis. This medicine is available only with your doctor’s prescription.
Azithromycin is used to treat bacterial infections of the nose, throat, chest, ear, skin, soft tissues, and sexually transmitted genitourinary infections.

How it works

Azithromycin belongs to a class of medications called macrolide antibiotics. Azithromycin works by killing bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves.

Loose motions, fatigue, sensation of pins and needles or numbness, abnormal blood counts., joint pain, abdominal pain, lack of appetite, urge to vomit, stomach pain or cramps, skin rashes and itching, dizziness, gas, headache, problems digesting your food, altered taste sensation, weakness

  • Do not take Azithromycin if you are allergic to azithromycin, erythromycin or any macrolide or ketolide antibiotic or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
  • Do not take any antacids containing magnesium or aluminium for up to 2 hours before and after taking this drug.
  • Consult your doctor before taking this drug if you are pregnant.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are breast feeding.
